Diploma in Computer Science is a programme specifically designed to impart a suitable level of theoretical and practical understanding in computing that is useful in the workplace. This programme consists of various structures and covers different aspects such as the ability to use current techniques, skills and tools necessary for computing practice; to use and apply a range of ICT routine skills, techniques, practices and tools; to use simple software development tools; and to analyze and interpret technical information, user manuals, analytical and statistical data.

At the end of the programme, students are expected to be able to appreciate and utilize the latest technologies, demonstrate competent oral and written skills, as well as effective communication skills. They should also be able to apply their educational experience learnt in class to the actual working environment.
