- INCEIF is the only university in the world dedicated to Islamic finance, and is part of Malaysia's initiative to promote education in Islamic finance for the domestic and international finance community.
- Governed by a Governing Council, the curriculum at INCEIF is structured with inputs from Shariah scholars and industry players to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry experience.
- As of 2014, INCEIF has established partnerships with various local finance organisations such as Prudential BSN Takaful Berhad and OCBC Al-Amin as well as international industries including World Bank, Islamic Development Bank and Islamic Financial Services Board.
- At INCEIF, both students and staff play a critical role in uplifting the level of the institution, gathering some of the best minds in the field of Shariah, Islamic Finance, Islamic Banking, Islamic Economics, and even Econometrics.
