Established in 1997, Asia Metropolitan University (AMU), formerly known as Masterskill College of Health Sciences, is one of the largest nursing and health colleges in the Asia Pacific region. Its main campus is located in Cheras, Selangor. AMU’s mission is to meet the global human capital needs by focusing on excellence in teaching, research, innovation and consultancy.In 2008, AMU initiated the expansion of its operations with associate institutions of Masterskill Global College in Ipoh, Perak; Kota Bharu, Kelantan; Kota Kinabaru, Sabah; and Kuching, Sarawak and to complete its reach, a new medical campus in Johor Bahru was recently established. Delivering state-of-the art facilities, AMU has expanded with new programmes under its faculties of Business & Law and Medicine. It has also forge strong partnerships with University of Sunderland (UK) and Guangxi Medical University (CN) to advance international collaboration in the vast growing fields of medical science, innovation and health care.
