- The Higher Education Ministry has allocated RM10 million as scholarship this year for students who excel in sports
- 178 student athletes who excel in sports will receive the scholarship this year
- The Ministry allocated the same amount last year
- Courses sponsored by this scholarship are Sports Science, Engineering Science, Sports Psychology and Recreational Sports in either public or private institutions
