Malaysia's capital, Kuala Lumpur, is now ranked 29th QS Best Student Cities in the World.
Previously, Kuala Lumpur was ranked 37th in 2018 and 41th in 2017. Thanks to the rapidly improving reputation of Malaysia's higher education sector, Malaysia, particularly Kuala Lumpur, is gaining its prominence on the world stage.
Kuala Lumpur has a good balance between gleaming skyscrapers to authentic multicultural heritage sites. From temples to mosques to street vendors, students can easily experience the rich multicultural mix in this city.
It is also ranked 2nd in the world for affordability, with its low living cost and low tuition fees.
