NZFIA @ KYS Business School is the first New Zealand foundation qualification in the country geared towards providing the pathway to chartered accountancy in New Zealand, and being recognized at international level. As compared to taking the full degree program overseas, the NZFIA @ KYSB is a viable and sensible option to cut costs. Students can do their first 2 years of the program locally in Malaysia and complete the remaining years in New Zealand. 

To expose students with international standards of teaching and expectations, KYSB employed a number of experienced and well qualified expatriate teachers to give the edge to our students. Students of the Foundation program will be well prepared by the time they transfer to New Zealand as they have adapted to the expected standard of English, the accents and the different approaches to teaching and learning at the university level from a New Zealand perspective. 

The syllabuses for the core subjects of NZFIA mirror those that are offered at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. All examination papers are set and moderated by experienced academics from the university, hence, confirming its quality assurance both in terms of academic rigor as well as consistency at an international university standard.
