Why Study at ATC

Advance Tertiary College (ATC College) was formed in 1987 to provide local educational opportunities for school leavers and working adults. Our aim is to provide students with access to tertiary and professional education that is affordable yet maintaining the highest level of academic standards.

In the last decade, ATC has become the largest private law school in this region with two campuses in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur and Penang) and a joint venture partnership in Hong Kong with the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Their Business School has also grown to offer a variety of certificate and diploma programmes that are contemporary and market-driven. ATC has also been running its A-Level courses through the School of Pre-Tertiary and Professional Studies. This school has been recognized by the Cambridge International Examination as a registered centre for A-Level examinations.

ATC has also been recognised by the University of London as one of only six institutions in the world to receive their 150th Anniversary Excellence Award. The University has acknowledged on numerous occasions that ATC is the most successful private law school in the world. Furthermore, ATC is also the only private law school with the most London law awards worldwide.

Student Accommodation

ATC has collaborated with Hostel Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA), Sam Mansion Flat, Bangsar Hostel, and HostelHunting.

Transportation

Available public transportation around ATC are bus (Pasar Seni Station), MRT or LRT Pasar Seni Station, Monorail Maharajalela Station or KTM Kuala Lumpur Station.

Student Parking

There are ample private parking spaces available around ATC.

Things to Do Around the Campus

There are various cafes and restaurant located near the ATC campus such as Merchant land, The Bubble Bee, Ho Kow Hainan Kopitiam, Ali Muthu & Ah Hock, Chocha Foodstore, Leaf & Co Café and many more.

 ATC is also located nearby Central Market, UTC, Kotaraya badminton court, Chin Ho swimming pool behind ATC. On top of that, KLCC, Pavilion, Time Square, and Nu Sentral are able access through LRT or MRT.

Security

ATC has 24-hour surveillance, ID card access and strict regulation of visitors entering the campus.

Applying to ATC with SPM Trial Results

Students are able to apply to ATC using their SPM trial results under conditional offer; however, once students got their actual SPM result, they are required to submit to us.

Affiliated Organisations & Job Opportunities

ATC is growing in its number of industrial partners with affiliated organisations such as Babel, Bad Lab, Good Virtues Co., HoMinSan, Dragon–i, Canton–i, and 7-Eleven.

General Education Subjects (MPU)

Students are required to take 2 or 3 MPU subjects per year. The subjects include the following: Pengajian Malaysia 2, Pemikiran Kritikal dan Analitikal Bahasa Kebangsaan A, Pengurusan  Masa, dan Tekanan Kerja yang Berkesan, Khidmat Masyarakat.

Graduation Details

ATC graduation ceremony will be held annually at KLCC. The cost per head is RM 260.
