ADMAL Aviation College 6th Convocation Ceremony 2019

Admal Aviation College recently held its sixth convocation ceremony on Thursday, 21st November 2019.

Since its establishment in 2011, Admal Aviation College has produced 882 graduates in the aviation industry. In other words, more than 80% of Admal graduates are absorbed into the industry.

Currently, the student population at Admal Aviation College is approximately 823 students. Admal Aviation College is currently training these students in various programmes, such as LAE trainings, Diploma programmes and Certificates programmes, which are:

  • 313 students as CAAM Part 66 Cat B1.1 & B2 trainees. Approximately 130 students are conducting on-the-job training  (OJT) with industry partners.
  • Admal’s Diploma programmes offer 3 types of Diploma programmes with 339 active students.
  • Admal’s Certificate Programmes had trained 668 trainees since 2014, and more than 90% are employed by the industry at the end of their OJT.
  • 74% are still permanently-employed in the aviation industry, after many years working there.

Convocation Ceremony

This year, in 2019, at their 6th Convocation Ceremony, Admal Aviation College is proud to celebrate the success of 234 students who have completed their programmes:

  • 19 graduates of Diploma of Engineering Technology in Aeroplane / Avionics Maintenance
  • 39 graduates of Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Technology (with Cat A1 License)
  • 29 graduates of Diploma in Aviation Business
  • 78 graduates of Diploma Technology in Ground Operation Services
  • 48 graduates of Certificate in Aircraft Manufacturing Technician
  • 21 graduates of Certificate in Aircraft Ground Handling Technician

 Admal Aviation College

Towards the end of his speech in the ceremony, Admal Aviation College CEO, Hj Abdul Malek Packeer also announced the College’s latest achievement FlyAdmal Club, established earlier this year. Its purpose is to allow Admal Aviation College to have its own flying club where PPL flight training is provided for aviation enthusiasts in both the public and private sector.
